Dr. Esra HANSU is a Managing Associate of Hansu Attorney Partnership. She provides legal consultancy services on International Commercial Law, Construction and Real Estate Law, Intellectual and Industrial Property Law and Public Private Partnerships Law to our local and international clients operating in different sectors.
She advises on the drafting and review of purchase and sale Agreements, service agreements, distributorship and franchise Agreements, manufacturing agreements as well as the preparation of legal opinions and reports for local and international clients operating in various sectors such as food, cosmetics, household supplies, energy, construction, health and medical devices, petroleum and mineral oil.
Dr. Esra HANSU provides comprehensive legal advice to clients in the Transportation and Logistics sector, including:
Dr. Esra HANSU advises clients on the drafting and review of various contracts that are to be concluded within the scope of Public Private Partnerships. Depending on the scope of the cooperation, these agreements may vary, in particular:
A public-private partnership can be established through any or all of these contracts.
Following her undergraduate education, Dr. Esra HANSU completed her legal internship at the Istanbul Bar Association and started to work at Hansu Attorney Partnership.
She started her master’s degree in International Commercial Law and European Union at the Foreign Trade Institute of Istanbul Commerce University and completed in the area of Turkish Code of Obligations, Vienna Convention and Incoterms 2010 her thesis titled “Transfer of Damage According to CISG and Obligations Law” under the supervision of Prof. Dr. Hüseyin Hatemi.
In 2017, her work titled “Transfer of Damage in the Contract of Sale” was published by On İki Levha Yayıncılık. At the same time, her article “Transfer of Damage in the Turkish Code of Obligations” was published in the refereed journal of Istanbul Commerce University Institute of Social Sciences.
Continuing her academic studies, Dr. Esra HANSU completed her PhD program in Private Law at the Institute of Social Sciences of Istanbul Commerce University under the supervision of Prof. Dr. Hüseyin Hatemi and obtained the title of Dr. Her doctoral thesis was published by Seçkin Yayıncılık.
In addition, Dr. Esra HANSU’s article titled “Right of Building in Public Private Partnership” was published in the Working Paper Series of the refereed journal of the Foreign Trade Institute of Istanbul Commerce University.
Her article “General Terms and Conditions Deemed Unwritten” was included in the publication prepared as the 80th Anniversary Tribute to Prof. Dr. Hüseyin Hatemi and she presented her article in the panel held at Sabahattin Zaim University.
She is currently continuing her academic studies along with the legal representation of our clients.
